Default Help 94' Firebird overheating

Hi all,
my 94 fire bird is overheating and i notice a lot of smoke coming from the hood. I checked all the oils and coolant and everything seemed ok. A friend of mine suggested getting the transmission fan and or pump checked out. Any help or feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Check out the fan/clutch or just hook it up direct(so that it's always on when car is on) to see if that makes a difference. I had that trouble with my '94 LT1 and after doing that problem solved.
