Default blinker problems

i have a 98 firebird formula. Just recently (like tonight), i realized that my right blinker doesn't work in the front and the back. The tail lights work but the blinker on the right won't work. the arrow sign on the dash lights up but it doesn't blink and only clicks once. can anyone help me out on what it might be?

The bulbs are more than likely burnt out. The dash light staying on instead of blinking is an indicator that the bulb or socket is burnt.

For the driving lights/fog lights, you can pop the headlights and reach through the opening created when they're up.

For the DRL/turn signal lights, you can reach through the opening in the front fascia that's right under the light housing, or you can access them from the black plastic panel underneath the car.

Ok, so what does it mean if the dash indicator flashes but the front turn/DRL still doesn't work?

There's still a burnt bulb or socket. Our DRL sockets are famous for shorting out. Do a search and enjoy the stories

Changed out the bulbs and socket. I checked the blue wire going into the socket and found out it wasn't getting power. Where do I go from there?

Also, I thought that if a DRL/turn bulb or socket is bad neither the dash indicator or tail light will flash? However on my car they are flashing even without the DRL/turn signal...

Trace the wire back farther and see if there is a broken, cut, or melted spot.

i changed the bulbs in the front blinkers and they work fine now. when changing the bulbs in the fog lights, do you just pull out the wire connecting to the bulb? im pulling it pretty hard and it wont come out but i don't want to pull it too hard and break something.

Grab the back of the bulb socket where the wires are going into it. Twist it counter-clockwise, and the bulb should come out. Reverse directions to reinstall.

Ok thanks. According to my wiring diagram the blue wire goes into the DRL module. Where is that? I think it's behind the HVAC and radio controls, right?
