like stated befor the paint looks like a fat ladies *** with all the texture. and since its been repainted and a car from the 70s theres about a 90% chance that there is rust in the quarters, rockers and front fenders. and that quarter was hit hard and will need to be pulled back out befor u do any work to it. not say'n its a bad car just needs alota work. i restore and build hotrods for a living and can see how much work its gonna take

You are correct to say Frankenstein.
What is your ultimate goal with this project? If you want to drag race it, then you have a good start and who cares what the body looks like. And the mufflers would be the last thing to worry about (unless the engine isn't running right, but that's another topic...)
However, if you want a car you are going to drive regularly, I suggest stripping it down. Take everything out from the engine/drivetrain to the interior. Then put it back together slowly and the right way. That way you will know everything that needs to be done and not do more damage by trying to do things half ***.
The car looks like a good and straight machine. Take your time and it will one day be sweet. In the end it will cost you hundreds. Sorry, that's just the way these things go. Spread it out over time, do it right and it won't cost you thousands.

Oh, I'll fix it then. It was actually avatar size when I put it in my sig, but I think i re-added the pic to my photobucket and didn't shrink it. That'll get changed in a flash. And thanks for his email. I've really been thinking hard about one of these for my '96.
