the only thing i dont have, and also the only thing im paying a stealership price for is that plastic cover for the hole that is left when the stock airbox is removed... it was going to be $10.25 on SLP.com but they apparantly don't sell it anymore (tried getting it from Pace's site since pace has no minimum order and it would have been $12.25 plus $8 shipping)
the stealership wants $43

no clue.... I have a feeling it might be a part of the airbox top....at least thats what it looks like in the parts diagram on GMPD.com
incidently, it does not show the cover i am buying in that pic.... but at the pontiac dealership it was there (down in the lower right corner)
FWIW i got parts 1-7 (not sure about part 3, as i think thats just the bolt that holds down the airbox, which is already on a non ws6 car) all for $115 shipped (the filter was a K&N)
i dont think i could have gotten them any cheaper, seeing as how according to gm parts direct thats like $800-$1000 worth of parts
part no 9 might be a special WS6 part as well, but its just a longer version of the standard AIR hose... an 8 inch or so long piece of 3/4 inch heater hose and a hose extender coupler and some hose clamps (3 if you clamp the hose to the airbox) takes care of that...

I just used 3 and 9 from my old setup. I took the AIR hose and rerouted it. I also pulled some of the MAF wiring out of the loom to get it to stretch to the MAF so I wouldnt have to buy an extension, and I used some custom couplers for mase > MAF and MAF > throttle body
I may just go buy some weatherstripping and glue it to the top cover in the same shape. Would you mind getting a little closer shot of your airbox?

This cars drivetrain has been built by Lingenfelter Performance Racing. It has a LT1 350 completely forged with 428 HP on engine itself, with the blower not retarded it is at 710 HP. T56 6 speed transmission, Ford 9in rear with Strange axles 373 gears. Hotchkis adjustable panhard rod, trailing arms, traction bars, subframe connectors, and lower control arms. It has an extra computer and Lingenfelter software. I have over $50,000 in the car and most reciepts. The car is extremely fast and will break tens with slicks.

i reused all that stuff as well except i did buy a MAF extension cable for $25, and i did just extend the AIR tube rather than rerouting it...
let me see if i can find a pic.. my car's in the shop right now...
disregard the fact my MAF & Bellow are upside down, its already been turned around the right way... the body shop did that...

i have a question for some of you real WS6 owners...
i just added the ram air box and hood to my car (see pics on page 3) and yesterday i took out the plastic air silencer thing in this pic and added the stock GM WS6/SS blockoff plate ($45 for a piece of plastic cut in a pattern woohoo, well it did come with GM double sided tape, lol) anyway in this pic you can see the baffle i took out (arrow is pointing to it) and i want to know, where did GM put the headlight controller box that is attatched to it? mine is just kind of sitting down there now and im wondering if i should use some of the double sided tape and attatch it to the blockoff plate or what?
as for the plate itself, its in this link... and yes i tried getting it from SLP (actually Pace cause they didnt have a minimum order and i could have gotten it for $20 shipped) but they no longer make it so i had to go to the stealership and pay $45.

i took a bunch of new pics including a freshly detailed engine the other day and thought i'd bring this one TTT
$22 for a car wash and engine detail
and one of "Mini Me" which was my inspiration for getting the Ram Air hood... fwiw this model is not modified.. it was one of 1250 made in black with the ram air hood and black wheels
cost me $26 shipped a few years ago. I had the black wheels before i knew this model existed so no i didnt copy that part too.. but i did see the model and decide i wanted the ram air hood... ironically the model does not have a real ram air setup.. they just slapped a hood on it and changed the wheels. the engine under the hood has the stock 90 degree elbow setup
