Post Breathless Lights vs Stock

I know one can convert the stock lights to HIDs, but I was wondering how well the breathless set works. The 1k price tag is rather hefty, but I would be paying around that for my 98-02 conversion, unless i can get an ebay deal cheap. Any information is much appreciated.

I've got that kit. I personally think it holds my hood up too much and keeps me from getting a perfect line between the bumper cover and hood. I've got an inch gap right at the nose and it cannot be gotten rid of because of that headlamp system. But other than the gap they look good.

The quality leaves some to be desired, and fitment isn't great, not what you would expect for $1k. I'd pass. HID's on stock lights would be sweet tho!

I like the concept of the Breathless lights, however the actual execution of the product leaves much to be desired. If someone actually made a quality kit, that looked OEM I would consider the $1k price tag.

Damn, looks like its time to ebay a set... I don't want to spend the time on a terrible body fit :-(.

They're not HID, by the way. And the price has gone up to 1099. They're made out of aluminum that I can get for less than $45 a square yard. And the mix-and-match shapes just... Erg. That's why I'm making my own. If it turns out looking as good as I hope it will, I'll let you guys know when I do the write-up.
