That bird looks good! I had an 87 with those convex wheels on it. I always liked them better than the later concave wheels.

Make it fun and drop a six speed in.

nope but everyone thinks it is because they did such a kick-*** job it looks factory--they did it right and took the time.

Its great looking car in pics--and looks even nicer in person.
Now when I get the new BBK intake and a 3-3.5: cat-back---then I can beat stock LS1s

My 91 Formula was a 350 (not a Formula 350, they stopped that in 90 I believe) and was a true WS6 (RPO was there). It had rear "Performance" aluminum drum brakes (steel lined) and those same exact salad shooter rims.

To the OP, that's a very very clean and sharp looking ride. Congrats and acquiring such a beaut!

post up a pic. Just a FYI--all Formulas were WS6. And you had the same rims as me?

Well actually I should mention they WERE 16x8s. I'm not sure if yours are the 15x7s or not. Since I don't have the car anymore, I don't exactly have many pics, but I'll dig around for the 2 I know I have. I had heard all dumdumdumdumdum's were WS6, but wasn't 100% so I mentioned it.

I did later on get GTA tail lights (wrong year, but they worked fine and gave me the look I wanted) and Rims.

Nice ride, looks like SLP intake runners? BTW those convex "HiTech Turbo" rims were 1st seen on the 84 15th Anni trans Am, the first F-Body w/ 16" corvette size tire & rim pack.

On second look, my rims are SLIGHTLY different, mine are convex, where yours look flat (GrandAM Rims). Anyways here's a pic. There's another one around my computer somewhere, if I stumble on it I'll throw it up as well.

I like 91/92 bodies better than 4th Gen... I miss her.

nope they are 16X8s. They were factory equipment on 87 Formulas--just that year. My car was built with the wheels yours has. They are convex as well.

Your old Formula looks nice!! Go get another one
