not at all worth it. take your time. this is crazy but i got my 1995 formula, absolutely mint, every oil change, parts replaced, absolutely everything was documented. still has manual, original window sticker ect. for 4700$. only 90k miles. just take your time and keep looking.

I didnt buy it. Dealer called me and said the original owners had picked it back up... Thats again for the great advice. I will post again when I find another car and ask for everyones advice

Yeah, DO NOT do it. I bought a 1996 100% bone stock WS6 from the original owner with 22,000 miles on it for 10,000. I wouldnt pay more than 2500 for that car from the sounds of it.

You could have really dug yourself in there... I wouldn't purchase a Firebird in that type of condition unless it was made before 1979!

theyrs no such thing as stock headers, unless your actually referring to exhaust manifolds

i would never buy a car that has an engine light. you never know what kind of problems you will run into. and for 8k? **** that, maybe if it had 40k miles on it and looked brand new....RUN, dont walk, RUN away, far far away.
