Looks almost like a modified Camaro SS intake.

One guy on here did a shaker hood mod for his 4th Gen (sleek beak mind you) and it looked great! This would sure make it simpler. I don't think his is functional either.

I can assure you it isnt a modified SS intake (not that LS1 SSs even have those type of intakes anyway...thiers are just like WS6 cars.) Its completely built for purpose piece and is functional. I am pretty sure it can be bought through Year One, as can most of the Bandit car parts. And I am equally sure its not cheap.

Here are some more pics of it I took at the Year One Exp last month:

Ah, ok. Well the LTx one is similar to that then. I assumed since the hoods are close to being the same that the LS would stick with it as well.

The car is unbelievable in person. Every part of it looks like its factory and 99% of the "mods" are undetectable unless you know what to look for...for to me is a mark of craftsmanship. To me the rims go perfect with the car...late modle running gear with retro styling. Besides you need rims that big to clear the brakes. No expense was spared on the car and it showed.

I really dig how they did the hood bird, but the rims are a bit odd IMO, even if they are pretty much required.
