So where exactly was this short, what wiring was causing it? Ive heard alot of stories about the DRL sockets basically crumbling because of the heat from being on constantly..i was thinking about putting in some LEDs for the DRLs and figure i should replace the sockets while im in there.
If you are thinking about going to LED's, use the switchbacks from VLEDs. They make the best kits for vehicles. I've had them in two of my vehicles so far.
