Carolina has an E46 M3, and the VA state troopers have a few LS1 Camaros in the Hampton roads area. Also an SRT8 Charger. They'll actually try to get you to street race them then impound your car.... sneaky bastards...

They may have done that. At first they had the big old ugly lights on top, then they went to the low pro LED bar in my previous post. They may have went to the ones in the windshield now. I know there is an orange bar in the hatch glass. But the thing has lights everywhere in it. The fog lights strobe, the DRLs strobe, there are lights in the vents below the DRLs, LEDs under the spoiler, and of course all the rear lights flash or strobe.
But this isn't a patrol car, they usually just have it sitting around for awareness, parades, football games and stuff like that. Hilarious when the old cop that gets to drive it takes the tops out and cruises around.

it is entrapment in a sense...but there are loopholes in everything. in NC they seized a 350z and a cobra and turned them into street racer catchers. im not sure of the law on this but im pretty sure entrapment only occurs when "a person is forced to commit a crime they would not normally commit" so in a sense it is NOT entrapment because the cop didn't FORCE you to race him.
now if he was in the back seat with a gun to your head and said "race that car!" now THAT is entrapment.
