4th gen's and hood bird's?????
I s it wrong for me to want the hood bird decals on both my 4th gen car's?
when i painted my 95 formula i got all new decal's to replace the original, and while i was at it i got a fairly good sized hood bird that matches the design on the side panels.the car is jet black trimed in mettalic silver decals and looks great, all the folks at my local hangout love the bird,2 weeks ago i bought a 98 formula, bright red trimmed in black the door letter's were all messed up so i orderd new formula decal's for it [diffrent design from my black car] and i got a giant hood bird to match the side panel's it's 42" wide from wing tip to tip and 38" tall.my wife raised holy hell telling me i was destroying the car and making a copy of my first one,it will look stupid to have 2 cars with bird's on the hood's.i try to tell her it's just a decal it can be removed without hurting the paint.but i got to thinking and thought i would ask you guy's.....is it really wrong to put hood decal's on a 4th gen i don't recall any with a factory bird on them but i think it kinda give's them a retro look and i think my 98 will look great in red paint with black decal's and black wheel's what do all of you think about this???????????

My car came with a firebird with the checkered racing stripes down the top It was a shocker so I took it off but Ive never seen another like it. It had overspray the same color as my car NBM along the edges and I wish I would have left it on now. My G/F at the time was all over it with the mullet jokes as well.
My advice is let it grow on her, if its done right Im sure it will. Mine looked factory and I havent been able to find any like it either.
Do it bro, life is too short to sweat the petty things.

IF, and this is a big if, you get the right design you can do dual birds on a WS6 hood on the scoops that fade back into flames and eventually stripes; then it might look cool. This is a totally custom thing that I have been thinking about for a while but decided against since it won't make it any faster.

Look what they did with exhaust We ruled the roads for loud pipes, now we get drowned out by that bee-swarm sound

Do you have anymore pics or info on that bird....OMG that thing is AWSOME. If it has the 18in Year One snowflake wheels on its perfect. I am not often floored buy other cars but my jaw dropped when I saw that picture! I think I have an idea for my next project car!!!! Does anybody want to buy a SOM WS6?????

I think i can pull it off with the design i have,it should arrive friday so i will post a pic along with my 95 that already has one on the hood.the only reason i want it is to break up the solid color on that big flat hoodsince i don't have ram air,and the bird is a hell of a lot cheaper than a new hood....

Dmoney's that would look good if it was a little smaller i think. Also that one up top the gold and black, have you seen that complete car? All the gold pin striping, very tacky and over done IMO.
If you keep it subtle though, it should look good.
