is the gray in a 99 trans am the same as the dark gray in an 01?

Noooo! The 98/99 is dark grey and the 00-02 is Ebony which is much darker.

ok thats what i thought but the guy said that they were not black.

Neither is black but the Ebony is the closer colour.
