Go with a New Era OTR ~16whp without a tune, and VMS makes a tune for it that nets an additional ~16whp I believe.

I've had great luck with spectre, I mocked this one up and they now have all the pieces to make yours shine under the hood. I think the NEP OTR is the best one out there for hp. A lot went into Mike's OTR and they look good under the hood and they work very well. Its your call, all of the good ones will make simular hp and the OTR should make the most.

Vararam should provide the best results...if they ever get it out to us.

The New Era OTR CAI is hands down the best on the market right now.. Great quality and outstanding results with an awesome price.

After looking at the pics of the NEW ERA OTR it seemed to me that there might be some clearence issues with the hood. Is this a Problem for the NEW ERA OTR or am i just looking at it wrong?

There are no clearence issues with the NEP OTR intake. We sell this intake, and I have one on my own G8.

There are no clearance problems with it. I've seen Mike @ New Era's G8 before and it fits real good in there.

The radiator is tilted back some to gain the necessary clearance. Kit fits like a glove.

Good to hear. Maybe it was just the pics that were giving that impression to me. Def going to look into getting one of these is it is that big of a gain over stock.

The traditional elbow style Roto Fabs and New Eras CAI were a big improvement over stock, and people are selling those to buy an OTR unit, so yeah it's a pretty big difference and even bigger with a proper tune.

Mike's stuff if top quality, looks great and performs just as well. If I were in the market right now, it would be Mike's NEP OTR. Still love my intake.

it was mentioned that the radiator is moved a bit to make the otr fit correctly...is there some type of spacer i'd have to buy to make it sit correctly?

No spacers are needed. You pull the top clips that mount the radiator to the support, and the intake itself actually pulls the radiator back.
