Default G8 GXP w/long tube headers in car video

I made a quick run today with the camera in the car. I wedged the tripod in the back seat. I didn't realize that my mug was in the picture when I made the video.

Here it is.

ARH Headers.
No tune yet, I'm waiting on my intake first.
It made 358 rwhp and 365 rwtq bone stock before the headers.
I was shifting the manual transmission.

it seems to hit hard when you shift. do you notice any TM kicking in? are you still running a stock catback?

I had traction control off for that run. I have long tubes with high flow cats and the ARH x-pipe. The mufflers are stock.

That sounds great for the stock mufflers!

Has anyone broken 400 rwhp yet with bolt-ons?

Not that I've seen. That's not to say it hasn't been done, I just haven't seen it yet. I plan on breaking 400 rwhp in the next couple of weeks. As soon as my intake comes in I'll take it to get tuned.

The M6 is the reason I got the GXP, that and the LS3.

They made 355 rwhp when they first got the car. It made the 371 after there was 1000+ miles on it so it "loosened" up some. Based on what the guys that did the dyno said and the increase with the Livernois car I think mine will gain some more too. It had just over 600 miles on it when I dyno'd it. I plan on getting over 1000 miles on it before I take it back to get tuned.

Sounds great! Definitely louder than a GT with headers and stock catback.

Love it more everytime I watch it! Any intent on replacing the "STAWK" axle backs?
