I wouldn't say sad...the less you finance the better you are off. Every car I ever bought I had over 1/2 to put down. Good luck on finding a deal, like I said...you should find out all incentives being offered as of now. Just because people got it for less a month ago doesnt mean the same deals are going on now.

They called me back today and I set up to go in at 12:30p on Saturday. I told them that I would need to have it be around $26k or I would go elsewhere. I told them that I knew they were selling at the price around the country so there was no reason for it to be different here. He said he would ask his manager to check the books and then we'd talk at the meeting. Kinda excited to see if I can play these guys.

I dont think you will get below $28000 before TTL right now because the loss of the $2000 dealer cash unless you have a lease that ends within 12 months or are a member of a credit union, those will each get you $500 off.
But good luck I just got mine Stryker Blue GT with premium, sport and sunroof 2 weeks ago and it is an amazing car!

Gay Pontiac in Texas seems to have the BEST prices by far and the best he is doing right now is:
GT's with Sport and premium, these have an MSRP of 34,090.00 and he is selling them for only 27,782.00 + TTL

That sounds right from what I have heard and delt with. I was quoted $26,400 for a prem/sport package here in Pittsburgh. So add on the $2,000 of incentives now gone then it is in the ballpark. But who knows lets hope he gets a crazy good deal.

I can wiggle up to $27k. 26 is the best case scenario. And I wasn't counting on TTL included. That was a before TTL price. But I don't think I'm going to go in Saturday because I don't think that they'll play the deal game until I am going to give them a check and that won't happen on Saturday. But GM is looking at bankruptcy June 1st. So I think there will be some things coming in. I think I may wait because I'm not concerned about not finding a car. I think the 0% will stay for a while. And I don't know about the dealer cash. I'm just hoping some good deals come from GM going bankrupt. Plus the car I drove is the one that they are doing their test drives in. It has some miles on it. I think under 100 still but that's 12 test drives with the route they have go. And people are gonna get on a 361hp RWD sedan when they are testing. lol Maybe I can shove that at them. hmmm...

Keep in mind though, this year your sales tax on a new car is deductible. Not a big deal but, every little bit helps. I got the dealer cash, rebate, loyalty, and lease to buy incentive to get mine down to 26k. Then add TTL. I will pay mine off early so I took the rebate over 0%..

So is the dealer cash completely done? Or is it just a dealership specific thing?
My only problem is that the first week of June my girlfriend gets her license back and I'll be selling her my Camry and that will be my $$ down... And she doesn't want to wait for the Camry. She hasn't driven for a year and is refusing to wait longer.
