Default New 20" wheels w/305's Toyos

255/35r20 and 305/30r20

I did the Firehawk color scheme but with my wheel colors gun metal black. It almost looks ghosted out.

It looks great but if you compress the suspension all of the way those rears are going to destroy the rear fenders for sure.

And how do you plan on compressing the suspension all the way? The car sits at stock high and I do not plan on lowering it. I really haven't look under the suspension but it should have bushings or stops on the supension just like the F-bodies. This will also be resloved when I put an air suspension kit.

As they sit the wheels tuck in. It being IRS when the wheels tuck in it cambers in so fenders should not be an issue. Fenders have almost no lip I cut it off with a metabo blade and grind down the edge with a tiger disk. No issues as of yet...

Not meaning anything bad but several people on the g8 forum have ran wide setups and had issues down the road with either rubbing and or catching the fender.

Wheels wont camber in that much, hopefully trimming the fenders will help. I know either that or bending the lip was required on my gto for the same reason when i was running a 9.5" wide rear wheel setup.

I know for a fact my wheels tuck in and do not rub on the fender wheels. As to how far they would travel and actually rub further up the fender i do not know. And i don't hope to fine our eighter.lol

Single T76 or S480 is going into this bad boy. I've always wanted a turbo car so I'm going to spend my penny's on that. Should be ready by new years, that will be my New Years resolution.lol

It's easy to take the parts off or at least the one's around the doors are, but the problem would be the paint sticking to the chrome. Even if you sand it down and make it rough for the new paint to sick any little rock would chip the paint and it would just start to peal from there. I might consider powder coating them if I find a paint close to the car's paint. The other thing that would be a pain would be the door handles. To do them right you would have to remove them which means taking everything off the door from the inside. All that = lots of work...lol I want to enjoy the car's setup the way it is and once I play it out for a while I might consider changing it to the all black scheme. Right now everyone thinks its an M5...
