Only if you gotta have the stick. Otherwise you could clone it and MOD IT and still pay less. But since they are all used now I guess it doesn't matter.
I guess the GXP has better gears as well. Everything else is pretty easily swapped out right?

Nice choice! I just bought a 2009 G8 GT with 10,0xx miles yesterday that's identical except mine has a black interior. We hauled a family of 5 around yesterday and it was a blast to drive! Going to stop hijacking your thread now and start my own.

You can actually put the Gen5 Camaro rear diff in these cars, gives an extra option for gear choice. The stock G8 GT ratio is 2.92, the GXP Auto is 3.27 and the GXP stick is 3.70. The Camaro gives you a 3.45 option.

[hijack]
I know this isn't my thread, but I'm still loving mine especially after swapping out the speakers! No other mods as of yet.

I dig reading about the G8. Not sure if I'll wind up with a GT or GXP but looking for the PSM color. No need to buy one just yet I reckon since I'm not in the US for another year or 2 but once I get finished then I'll be looking....or maybe a bit before then. Who knows.

OTD the GTs are still running in the 22-24k range. They really dont sit around dealer lots for long unless they are overpriced.

GXPs run in the 31-34k range it seems. Manuals always bring more money than the autos.
