Pontiac G8 WOW!!!
Hi guys well today a friend of mind that i had not seen for over a year stoped by my house today and to my surprise he was in a G8. I must say that i was really over looking those cars just because... But today i am an official fan of the Pontiac G8... It had leather bucket seats (real racing bucket seat, unlike the mcss & iss) with gxp in the middle of the seat, his had a factory nav, and the exhuast sound more like a foreign car exhuast vs. a chevy pick up... I must say i would really consider buying one of those now.... Oh i forgot to mention it was rear wheel drive (LOL)

You just now got to see one? The only thing my step-dad's GT has on my GXP is RWD and 6-speed. We both think mine sounds better, I have a HUD, he likes my seats better, and so on and so forth.
But glad you finally got to see that Pontiac was just taking off when they killed. Last Pontiac produced was a G6 sedan for fleet use.

Yea ive sat in a 04 grand prix but the seat were a cloth bucket set, his look racing like. And yea ur right it probably wasnt a factory nav but the screen was flat and wide so i just assumed it was .. I was really just comparing them with the mcss and iss.. Theyre still some nice *** cars though.. Much respect given. Sorry if i offend anyone 4 noticing the cars styling super late...LOL

You can also check some things like transmission temp, battery charge level, oil life remaining and some other neat stuff by going into engineering mode. To do that push & hold the left scroll button on the steering wheel while you start the car. Once the motor starts release the scroll wheel and use it to scroll up & down through the various stats. To exit engineering mode push the button next to it or just shut off the motor.

That's cool, I wish I had factory Nav, my HUD would give my turn-by-turn. I'm just messin' with you. They are lovely car and I wish I'd gotten one, but I have my GXP and I love it.
I use my Captivate as a GPS, way better than our 2 year old Garmin, lol.

Lol, we have all of that, plus the G-meter.
We also have the ability to subscribe to OnStar's turn-by-turn; pretty much all GM vehicles with a DIC can.
The factory NAV is a better option because there's no subscription and the NAV discs are always updated.
Another neat thing is that we can pick up a few things that are made for the Corvette since we share NAVs, HUDs, and Class 2: GM PAL and the DashTronix radar detector (screenshot).
