Well. I wanted to be the best at something and it probably wasn't gonna be the fastest G8. I am going for dirtiest and most miles.

Ive been to these states in my G8:

Is that tru trac carrier for the stock diff or did you go with a 9, wreckwriter?

I owned an A4 06 GTO that I traded for my A6 09 G8 GT.

Stock GTO went 13.142 @ 105.96 DA 1558! (60' 2.008)

I've never ran the G8 but enough of you have. So take a stock slip from someone running similiar DA to compare. Guarantee you won't find one running 13.1s in 1500+ DA

Side note, GTO went 12.824 @ 108.85 with only a K&N panel filter, h-pipe and tune. DA 558, this on BFG KDWs.

Hasnt the fastest stock G8 gone 12.8@109 granted that was a GXP but it was an A6! Numerous GT's with boltons only have gone 12.1's at about the same MPH 110-111. Guys are running high 12's with an intake and superchips tune so really its all about the same.

The OPs question was about a GT not GXP. The GXPs put down far more rwhp stock than the GT. 1500+ DA is not good weather either. I'll bet any G8s close to that time are in under 500 DA.

My GTO only had a filter, not an intake. The H pipe was added to the stock exhaust. I comment because I've owned both cars in question and it is not even close when stock. I drove both off the showroom floor bone stock.
The GTO with the above mentioned mods plus an UDP and skinnies/ETs went 12.672 @ 109.95 DA 1703 60' 1.947. No headers or CAI, etc. With even 1,000 ft better DA and another tenth off the 60', it would have gone 12.3s or better. All without headers, gears, etc.

I haven't run my G8, but when I do, I really hope it is near the 12s

To tell you the truth I haven't had one to run me, but keep in mine a G8 GT will do just fine against the GTO all the way around. I was running with a SC tune and a CAI 13.3 1/4 times and that's with 2.92 rear end.
