Does anyone know the lift and duration of the stock G8GT DoD cam? Is the G8 GXP cam different? I am also wanting to buy a stock DoD cam from someone who has recently compleyed a DoD elimination cam swap.

I would sell you my stock cam, but it's damaged from a lifter failure.

Thanks! So only the GT uses DoD. (I forgot the GXP has the LS3 engine.) I am trying to figure out the specs on the stock LS4 (fwd) cam to see if its worth the trouble to upgrade to the L76 cam. I eant to retain DoD.

Call Comp Cams. They might have something, but I don't think switching over to the L76 cam will gain you much of anything. It's a tiny cam as is.

Im still trying to find specs on the LS4 cam. If the L76 cam bumps it 10deg and .100" lift, it'll be worth it. The LS4 5.3 is only rated at 303hp. The extra cubic inches of the L76, by itself, doesnt account for the extra 60hp. The cam must be bigger.

I have a stock L76 cam that I pulled out while doing the dod delete. 50 bucks plus shipping.
