Default My Daily

I picked up an 08 G8 GT as my daily a couple weeks ago from a private seller here in GA. The car had a few miles on it(113K), but being an owner of an 03 Yukon with 240K and a LS swapped s10, I'm not worried one bit. The G8 had more interior wear (a lot of scratches) than the seller had advertised, but it didn't break me from making the purchase. I've been on the lookout and found most of the needed parts and have already replaced the majority of them; things such as the glove box, front seat panels, floor trim, etc. Other than that, the car is in great condition! As far as performance goes, the car only had a Roto-fab CAI, and I have since then complimented it with a custom tune. The next step will be exhaust. I still can't decided if I want to the cheap 1 3/4 Pacesetters coated by my guy or save up for some 1 7/8, as I plan to add a Whipple in the future. For suspension, I finally got around to replacing the struts and springs with PPV's and Eibachs, along with the Whiteline strut mount bushings and a set of Nitto 555(255/35R20 & 275/35R20) for some decent grip. I have a set of BMR rear cradle bushing inserts I plan to install soon, and then I should be good on the suspension for a little while. Here are some pictures I took of the car yesterday after my de/rebadging:

Very nice. Tried to talk the wife into getting one of those, but she opted for a BMW 328xi instead.

I have a soft spot in my heart for G8s, they look so good by just lowering them and throwing some wheels on them.

If we can ever help you out with any suspension or chassis stuff just let us know.

Camaro wheels always look great on a G8.
