Noise in front end at higher speeds
I have a 2008 Pontiac G8 GT that has about 125k miles on it. I've recently noticed a noise coming from what seems to be the left front when I'm decelerating (about 52-65 MPH.) I thought it may have been a wheel bearing, we took a look at them and everything seems to be good. However, the noise is still there. Any ideas of what it could be? Anybody else having this issue?

Check your motor mounts... I had one in a Monty Carlo get soft,, (basically old) and when slowing down one of the pulleys would touch a non moving bit,, Steering or something (can't remember) and make a odd scraping / squealing noise.

Engine and tranny mounts are all good. I’ve noticed a few times I’ve held down the gas pedal and it revs but doesn’t want to go in gear. Doesn’t do it ALL the time. Every so often. I’ve asked the dealer about any recalls and they tried to tell me it was normal. 😑
