I'm considering a G8 GT for my daily with 2 small kids in car seats. Anyone have experience with this? Good idea/Bad idea? Anything I should be aware of?

A PPV would give you even more room. The rear passenger compartment is HUGE! An ex-cop car with a partition and rubber floor might also come in handy with kids, lol.

My wife throws in the car seats and totes the grandkids around in hers from time to time. Works fine, plenty of room.

The only thing to be concerned about is kids scuffing up the seatback panels with their shoes. That plastic scuffs easily.
