I just recently purchased a 2009 Pontiac G8 v6 Sedan for my wife... I's in perfect condition with the exception of the rear brake backing plate(s)... I have been literally trying everywhere, including GM to get these plates.... I have had no luck because I have found they have been discontinued.... Does anyone know where I could possibly find them or does anyone know if there is compatible plates that can be used without changing brakes etc... I've been told the plates from a Camaro can be used, but don't know what year of Camaro plates to use...

Any help would be greatly appreciated....

If the Camaro works it will be the 5th GEN models. You need to check and make sure there isn't a difference between brakes on a V6 or V8 car.
