I was just about to buy a solid body black and tan el cameno to do an ls swap to , but now that I see this Ill just wait and buy one. So there fore, your car will remain more rare.
PS, if all you care about is the value of the car your in the wrong game!

Do you have a link that confirms the LS3 in Holden cars? I thought it was just speculation right now

The stylish wagon would provide Pontiac with a rival for the 250kW rear-wheel-drive Dodge Magnum that’s based on the Chrysler 300C Tourer.
Isn't Dodge killing the Magnum, I thought i read that in the automotive news a few weeks back.

Yes they are and that is one of the reasons they are bringing on the g8 wagon, because it won't have much competion with the magnum gone. They killed the magnum because they had to make room for challangers to be built. They wanted to focus more on them instead of magnums.

This will help the Holden plant run at full capacity which saves GM money rather than running at a lower % capacity. I believe the dodge plant is already at full capicity and they need the room for the imcoming challanger.

Edmunds took one for a spin. Click the logo to read what they had to say.

First Impressions: With aggressive styling plus handling and comfort better than many sedans, it's like a Camaro that'll carry two dirt bikes.

I thought it would have been nice for GMC to get a little performance truck back. I'm sure Syclone could have been resurrected. Maybe a Caballero Syclone model

RWD only. The Holden RWD structure is engineered for AWD though.

The Utility costs less than the sedan in Australia. I'm not sure if the Sportwagon will be more or less.

The official name of this car in North America will be Pontiac G8 ST. Base price is expected to be $31,000 and all STs will have 6.0L V8 and G8 options standard. No V6 model.

You can buy the Holden hood, front fascia and your choice of Holden or Chevrolet grilles and badging for this car from Aussie vendors like JHP - http://www.jhp.com.au/ - the parts aren't expensive and the install is easy for any body shop.

You can bet some people will make this car into a new El Camino themselves just as some new Challengers will be made into new 'Cudas by owners.
