dont know what orfice your pulling your info from, but there will be no more solid rear axle in any pontiacs anytime soon, including the whole g8 lineup. everything is irs. the payload is even extremely low due to the irs.

We dyno’d it at 430 to the ground

Killer! What's that thing weigh?? I'm getting a motorcycle soon, and I think I might get one of these instead of a Camaro!

Its gotta be black....oh and have a silver stripe at the bottom. Wait I might be a little biased in this opinion.

Lets see I already have the basic design and the LSx. But I kept the solid axle. How much did the IRS hurt the cargo capacity?

I had to weigh it to get it legalized - it was 3786

Cargo capacity was like I said - S-10 esque

Sounds pretty cool. I'm not too familiar with S-10s... can you fit a small motorcycle in back??

I think the GM rated cargo capacity for the mid 80`s El Caminos was only around 800Lbs IIRC. But mine didn`t mind having the other side of 1200# in it. The tow capacity was 5000# if you have the right rear axle ratio though

You should get a bike, and have it matching paint jobs!

Throw the black bike in the back of the black pontiac

That's exactly why I want one. Trucks are horrible but I need something to haul with, this is the car I've been waiting for.
