they were giving this car away at the rolex 24 hours at daytona this year. they had some hot *** walking around begging people to sign up for a chance to win it. I put like 40 submissions in because they started that thing up and damn did it sound good! Ditch the rims and the stripe and it's one hell of a car!

Pontiac isn't giving that one away, they were/are giving away production # 888 off the assembly line. The 50 cent car was there though for promotional value. Where did you register? I was working as a product specialist @ the Pontiac display and my wife was in charge of the sweepstakes.
The car is sick. It's got a custom set of stainless longtubes (Kooks or AR I think) and all LS7 top end hardware parked on an LSX short block. It was impossible to stretch it's legs since the parking lot was a zoo, but just a touch of the gas sends it launching forward instantly
I was trying to get Pontiac brass to let us run it for a lap around the speedway before the race to get some more interest in it, but the insurance only covered the car within 100 feet of the display and the stage.
The stripe needs to go in my opinion too. It is supposed to look like the Pontiac arrow from the front but nobody else sees it. . i think that was Unique Autosports' idea lol.

I like it, granted he may not know whats done to it, its still a nice car AND I'm sure he knows more about something he cares about than some of us do so people need to stop being jealous.

And who put ONE stripe on ANY american car wtf??????????? Think about it i think the only car that looked good with one stripe worth having was the grand sport corvette, not a dam tiny 3 inch stripe down the middle of a 4 door sized car

he probably took the car somewhere and said " yo, make errthang custom. and i want 500 horsepower, dawg, ya heard!"...and they say that he has more money than brains, put a stripe and wheels on it and told him errthang was custom and it had 550 horsepower, so thats what he tells people.

Its a nice car but I would have not put the one stripe on it as already mentioned. Too much money and other things for him to do than be an enthusiast like us. But agreed he don't have a clue whats done to it, ''Its custom man!''

So does everyone who has a car have to be an enthusiast? My grandma has a turbo PT cruiser, guess I better get on her for not being an 'enthusiast'
Hey Fennix, custom = not stock. An LSx with "mods or whatever, and rims" is custom.

That's cool if the guy wants to have a nice car, most people do. I know he has a **** ton of money and he probably has other things he would rather do then mod/build cars. Hence why he shouldn't brag about it.
But in all honesty, 50 cent seems to me like one of those tards you see at car shows that mistake an alternator for a turbocharger...(yes it has happend, I saw it first hand).
Just because the dude has money doesn't give him the excuse to be clueless.
back to original topic.....that car is pretty cool looking, I just don't know how I feel about the wheels either.

I have no problem with the car but the haters need to get a life. It is custom cause its not stock. And how the hell do you know that he doesn't know whats done to it? He never stated he knew about cause nor did he say he doesn't know **** about cars so all the speculation needs to stop. Props to him. He has a nice car and tons of money more power to the man for doing something.
