I'll be in the market for a 4 seater car in about a year or so, and the G8 and older CTS-Vs are on the list. I was all about the CTS-Vs until I started reading about there weak rearend (sounds worse than the F-bodies). I'm just wondering if the G8 will have the same problem. Maybe not. Is it the same rearend that is in the GTOs? How much power will it handle.

I don't think I'll be taking it to the track much (that's what the C-10 I'm building is for ) but I will probably take it there at least once, and other spirited driving. I don't want to be concerned about the rear like I would with the CTS-V.

Also, I've been reading about the GXP and it sounds good, but I haven't seen a price. Anyone have an figure.

I was thinking the same thing. There may not be a GXP coupe, but the GXP sedan sounds like a sure thing.

BTW, I know the GXP are to be a 2009 model, but when are they expected to be available to buy?

They are supposed to be in the States Nov./Dec. 08 timeframe.
