When the sail panel issue became a major ordeal over the past several years, I posted months ago that Pontiac was in trouble, but nobody listened. I protested the NEW Firehawk idea, and nobody listened.
Can't say I am happy about how things came out, but customer service SHOULD always be #1 and Pontiac screwed it up and paid the heavy price.

That's an ignorant statement. The car is selling exceptionally well.
David, no one is saying not to mod the car for enthusiasts. By all means do your thing, but DON"T USE THE FIREHAWK NAME!!!!! That is all anyone is trying to convey to you. Make the car as fast as you guys want, warranty it, whatever, just leave Firehawk out of it.

I haven't read every post on this topic regarding the pros and cons of the G8 Firehawk but I frequent the G8 board and some newbie recently posted his super rare 1 of 1 G8 Firehawk. What makes it so special and rare you may ask... it's not the standard GT with the L76 6.0L but the LS3 6.2L GXP version of the G8 converted into a Firehawk. Approximately 8 to 10 of these were built right when GM killed Pontiac and supposedly never sold through a dealer.
