I plan on driving the car 95% street as I already have 2 other LSX cars for racing 2000 with a 441lsx in the 9's and a 92 iroc 10.5 with a 434 in the 8's so I just want to make this durable for the street as most of my time is spent maintaining the other cars for racing. The car runs 11.68 now I plan on adding a 150 zex kit and hope for 10.90's that should also put me around 550rwhp. I really dont want to spend $4,000 on a conversion, I'll buy another Camaro instead and build another 9" myself for $1,000 first. I just want it to be durable.....so I wil need stubs does anyone make a locker or similar or will the stock unit live ? I just ordered a Coan 4L60E trans to drop in when this one ***** out and had a drive shaft made. Is the factory rear case strong enough ? who are the manufactures of the parts I need ? axle stubs, gears, driveshaft loop, carrier ? I may have worded it wrong I know of several manufacturers what one do you suggest I see you know what your doing and I like to do rhngs once...

You need to contact Geforce (Chris) here in Wichita. He has everything that you will ever need to keep that IRS alive. Billet stubs, halfshafts, outter stubs, driveshafts, spools, posi's, gears, etc...

Not too many 04 A4s running 11.68 ... it's not me. lol

So yeah, I have a Rossler transmission, 3.73 gears, Harrop diff cover, Difftech 100rwhp stub to hub axels. Also full pedders suspension.

wait until it breaks...if it ain't broke don't fix it...
i have been waiting on mine to break for over 3 years now...

70,000 miles on mine...stock stubs, half shafts, drive shaft, transmission, rear end,and over 150 passes at the track...stopped counting slips after 150 as that was more work than i felt like doing...

stock intake,stock throttle body,stock glove box,etc..

cam, headers and stall stirred up with a 150 shot wet kit...

low 11's all day,everyday...no 10's yet as most all the 150+ earlier runs were 1/8th mile stuff since 2006...only 30 passes so far this summer as i am a little lazy to go much in the heat right now as opposed to most of the other local posers...

just a host of 11.0's for now...
