Default Gto Axle question

if i put a 4000 torque converter in an auto matic transmission i wouldnt snap a half shaft or axel would i ?

You should be just fine. If you start adding a lot of parts and making a lot of HP and TQ then you might start breaking stuff. I had a 427 stroker in my car with a 5000 stall and stock tranny and rear end and never had any problems.

It's hard to say. The inner stubs are weak. If your not making a bunch of power and you dont put slicks or drag radials on then you will probably be fine.
You can buy Gforce half shafts and stubs through SNL Performance ( a sponsor on here)

I dont think anyone can give you the correct answer,its different for everyone.There has been poeple that have bought the cheaper aftermarket axles and broke them,not ours we only sell the good stuffIf we can help you out let us know.

I thought i depends on the year, 04's had the weak axle stubs

Yea, 04's had smaller axles on the outer ends but the stubs are the same.
