I think you should consider tire compound more. For example i have a stock 06 with Falken RT-615s all around and they are only 245s but i dont complain about 1st gear traction unless it is below freezing out.
Also at the track with the tires i ran a best of 13.00 @ 109 with a 2.0 60ft. For the other 5 runs i was running 13.1s but consistently putting down 2.0 60fts and bear in mind this was my first time to a drag strip ever.

They say "LS1" but they have the LS6 Intake Manifold.. I don't think the LS1 Intake Mani's were used since like 2000.

yea idk why it says it either..but i dont really care ha...and what type cams and heads do you guys think i should get? bc i was thinking ms3 cam...but im not sure..

what quarter does your goat run? bc i ran mine and it ran a 13.14 and 60 was 2.16..and all i have done is pacesetter lbs and daiblo tuner and k&n aci..and im not sure what else to do..and that was on street tires that were past the wear bar on traction haha

With crap tires and not bein able to launch hard I ran 13.5 @ 101mph with just a intake!

uhmm i see..and have you ever seem a 04 gto with one of those front lip chin spoilers..like under the bumber..bc i want one on mine but i cant find out where to buy them..ive seen them on a gto b4 but cant find one online

I fit a 275 Nitto on the back with stock 17 inch rims .. No rubing .. Ran 13.1 on a 1.9 60' No power mods... I know a friend that 60'ed into the high 1.5s on the stock 17s with a 275 MT ET Drag Radial.. But with the MT the fenders had to be rolled and drag bags where put in with minimal PSI..

For the strip, I have M/T ET Street bias plys mounted on stock 17s. Even with the fenders rolled and Pedder's 0-drops, it still rubbed when launching between 4-5k. Hooked like a MO FO though.
I now have drag bags installed, and just need to get back to the track. Hard to do when it's rained the entire month of October. Rake look FTW.
