Default 6 speed!

hewy guys i want to put a 6 speed in my 04 goat but dont know where i should get one..guys wanna help

search through here and ls1gto.. find someone swappin trannies for a auto but i think its more to it than just the tranny and shifter

I was just going to say the same thing,the swap will cost you a **** load of money,especially if you are not doing it yourself.I just bought a Barbados Blue 04 GTO with 35K on it for 12grand out the door,i have seen these cars in the 10K bracket.

yea, can be done but it is a pain. wanted to do it to mine but even with used parts and me doing the work your talking 3k+

Speaking from experience, it is a pain, but doable. It took me a weekend and a solid week of evenings after work to swap my M6 out for an A4, by myself.

I'll have a complete 6-speed setup on LS1GTO for sale in the coming days. Mine's for an 05/06 though, so not a direct fit (different ECM/harness)
