+1 on this idea! I was considering selling my '06 hood to get a DMS cowl hood, but with all the fitment issues I just couldn't go through with it... I would be all over this!!!

I want a cowl so bad. It just so happens that my car was in a minor accident and I have the chance to get one. I have tried for 2 months trying to get a hold of DMS. I have sent emails many times and called many times. I guess they aren't interested in my business. After the reading that I have done the last week and a half I dont think I want a DMS anyway! I still want a cowl so chop chop.

I've recieved positive news from VFN. It is by no means a sure thing yet but they are going to look at it. This doesnt mean that we should just sit back and wait for them. Show them we're serious by dropping them a pm or email. By letting them know we will support a GTO hood made by them we will be more likely to get one.

Thanks to everyone that has chimed in here,I couldnt do it alone. All of us together has showed them we want it and made it more likely.

I can get one production hood with molds for about $3500.00. So thats the start up production cost. I am just not sure if I wanna make the investment or not. Yes I have a contact and yes they produce high qaulity stuff.

For the 800 I spent on the DMS hood I wasn't very happy. Looks good and differnt. But need a better quailty hood.

I will be needing a new hood as well for clearance underneath maybe a simple cowl style hood.
Count me in!
