Advertised HP. Look at dyno numbers and the cars were putting down about the same.

Also, the GTO didn't get blue valve springs. They either got green or white. Mine had both. Blue wasn't used in the LS1, those were '01 LS6 springs and they aren't good to .570 lift either. The yellow springs were good to that lift.

The early F-bodies got a lower advetised HP to keep the Corvette people from grumbling. It's common knowledge this was an underrated spec.

you see one has a solid rear axle and the Pontiac 2004 GTO has an independent rear suspension also the 2004 Pontiac GTO while it's on a Dyno suffers from parasitic drivetrain loss and they weigh 3800 lb from the factory a lot more than the damn F body did so while dynoing for numbers on the SS Ram Air 325 HP and doing a Dyno for numbers on a 2004 Pontiac GTO count in the parasitic loss from the drivetrain that is in the 04 GTO and you'll see the GTO makes more numbers all day and Corvette LS6 Edition made 420 horsepower with flat top pistons at the crank... just my two cents brother

I have an 04 GTO and it definitely had an LS6 block, the better rods and floating pin pistons with an Ls6 intake. I have the cam in a box in my shop, would the numbers off of it tell what the specs are?

AWWW ****, some newb brought back a 13 year old thread.

Your (lack of) punctuation skills gives me a headache.
