Default ls2 Gto

Thinking of buying a 05-06 Gto with a 6 speed. Thinking of some mods to do to it if I get one. I am thinking Long tubes, air intake, catback and some kind of cam. If I end up getting one it will not be a daily driver but I want it to have good road manners. What would be a good cam that would run good and pull good. Will probably never see the track just want something fun to drive from time to time.

I personally know people with the Texas Speed Torquer v.2 cam, it's a good performer and is fun to drive.

Im running a Vengeance VRX5. (236/238 .601/.605 113LSA)

The car makes good power, and drives great. I daily drive the car, and dont have any trouble in traffic or slow cruising speeds. I can cruise at 1200RPM without any bucking, or stuttering. Car has been in the high elevens, and trapped 118MPH with this cam, and a stock LS2 intake.

I run the torquer 2 cam. It pulls strong from 3300-6300 where it peaks. You don't have to rev it to the moon. And it sounds great. 232/234 .595/.598 at 112 LSA. Here is a video clip when I 1st. got the cam in untuned. It still has the chop to it since it's been tuned. And car can cruise at 1200rpm's also with no bucking/surging.

I had been really looking hard at the torquer 2 before I ask but thought I would see what everybody had. Not sure if I am gonna get a car or not but if I do it will be the GTO. I really need to get a 2500 HD but may keep the truck I have now and get the car. LOL
