Default soaking lifters

ok i puilled my lifters out in order to to do my cam and heads swap in my 04 gto but i have heard different stories..should i or should i not soak my lifters in oil before putin them back in?!?!

You need to with new lifters so I would guess that it would be the wise thing to do.

I have never soaked mine upon re-installation. It's no different than your car sitting in your driveway over night. I usually squirt them with a little oil from an oil can just to soak them down.

why not soak them. I wasnt ready for mine at the moment so I soaked them until I was ready for them.
