8 Months ago i sold my 2000 A4 z28. On the juice. and went with an 06 Goat and i could not be more happy.. however if i could just come up with the $$ to have My maggie put on that would make everything that much better

sold my v6 camaro for the gto, i know not the same as most of you, gto is so much better, still have my ws6, it really depends on what you want, if you want a sexy drag car go fbody, cause my ws6 still gets way more looks than my goat, if you want a comfortable car with good power get a goat, right now i am looking into a corvette for the gto
so im probably no help unfortunately, but do i regret selling my fbody for the gto, no way

I sold my 2000 SS Camaro on here,it was a 400/390 car and ran 11.90 with a cam only and bolt ons.Bought an 04 Goat in the sig and as far as comfort the GTO rules hands down.SS was a beast with hardly anything done to it.If i spent the same amount of $$$ on the Goat in mods it would not even come close to that car,Performance goes to SS/TA.

I have no idea brother. Its almost 100 plus with me over my SS and I got a clean driving record. Someone told me its hard to get parts for the Gto. That in most cases they total the car if in a accident but dont quote me on that.

I have had a lot of fbody's over the years including a mint 68 RS/SS vert which was my favorite of all time but I had a 98 TA that I had for almost 5 years and I traded it in on my 04 GTO and I gotta say I love my GTO more than I ever did my TA. The GTO's are soooo damn expensive to mod though!

While thats true, currently more younger people own and total Fbodies then GTO's is what my insurance said. My insurance agency puts it in a touring car category as opposed to a sports car category....I dunno, but it was a lot cheaper then the 01 SS and the TBSS I have now is within dollars of the GTO's insurance.

sold my 04 gto which was a great car and bought a 99 z28.
did it for several reasons.
cheaper insurance
cheaper on yearly personal property taxes.
cheaper to mod.
plus the z28 was already well modded as the gto was pretty much stock and that was one of the main reasons.
the gto was a great car though and i loved it.

3 years ago I sold my 2000 Formula, 6spd, intake, exhaust, wheels, 12bolt-dont ask, for a 2005 GTO with 13k miles. Now at 68k miles with intake, exhaust, wheels, I would do it all over again. I love this thing compared to the chicken, the ride, the comfort, its a sleeper too.
