Got a fried missing his lower shift boot insulation. He ripped his out doing his shifter install, being too fast rather than going up under the car to loosen it. We need the part number for the boot insulation for an 2006 M6 GTO. I've done a lot of searching between here, GTO forums, GMPartsDirect catalog. No luck. He even went to the dealer, and he can't get them to narrow down the part.

What we need is the white boot seen here:

Send an Email to these guys (Gene) attach your pictures and I am sure he will pull up the parts for you. I think it was about 50 bucks for the boot and bracket plus the other black boot.

Good luck...i have been looking for one for a year and a half. i had a shop do my shifter and they didnt put it back in. Let me know if you find one
