Question Skip Shift

From what I understand, the GTOs have skip shift on them... I have found multiple kits to eliminate the skipshift such as the "Jet Skip Shift Kit" (http://www.lmperformance.com/3916/43.html)

How easy is this to install? I have performed basic work on my monte carlo (brakes, alternator, etc) I'm assuming this is something I should be able to perform easily or should I just bring it in somewhere?

My GTO should arrive any day now!

Thanks!

Pretty easy...just get the car up high enough for you to crawl underneath it, unplug the CAGS connector, then plug in the skip shift connector and be done with it.

Apparantly there are 2 plugs it will fit on the GTO, but it sounds pretty simple nonetheless.

I figure its got to be the same as whats on my TA... all ya really need is a lift or other easy way to access the underside of the tranny... then its just 'plug and play' LOL
