would having a shop fab an h pipe in place of the resonators in the center of a car make a big difference soundwise?

LOL...i'm not going to be adding longtubes for a while, but on a stock exhaust, would changing the middle resonator to an H pipe really change the sound or loudness that much?

I have a newb question. The stock exhaust, as far as I have read, flows extremely well. Has anyone cut off the mufflers attached to the tips, or swapped the mid-muffler? I want it louder. The car will not be modified any further as I have a 3 year warranty on it. I bought the car to be a nice, comfortable, and fast DD.

Congrats on your purchase!! Im running stock headers with X-pipe and muffler delete. Its loud and throaty. I get allot of compliments on the sound.

I was considering running an H and just cutting the stock mufflers out, but I do not want it to sound like a dump truck

Default Stock

I loved the sound of my stock 06 GTO exhaust and is why i left it stock !But then again ,,,i have a 800hp twin turbo 35th LE camaro as my weekend ride LOL
I had it at my local dealer back in December thinking of trading her in on a G8 for my wife for X mas and heard a rumbling coming down the street and looked and here it was my GTO that the sales guy was taking for a test ride LOL I never realized how dam load the dam car really was (stock) untill that day!,,, as ive never let anybody else drive her and have only heard her myself from the inside (as i was driving) LOL

only reason the stock exhaust is loud is because the resonator makes the interior noise louder. LOL
