Summit raceway opened back up today and i made it up to make some passes. I was really happy with how consistent the car ran. 60's were in the 1.7s all day and car ran between 12.52 and 12.42 on every pass. Here's a pic of the best pass of the day.

nice runs i wish i could do constant 1.7 60 ft. WOW i never did a 1.73 you lucky bastard!!! Still waiting for the 12 second pass red.

 

haha ya thanks alot man. It's honestly cake with an automatic to pop 1.7s all day. Being a 6spd is much more difficult but doable. My worst 60' of the day was a 1.780. These are all runs with the borla catback added and tow brace and gas tank brace all removed also.

 

Damn you auto's!!!! Next time drag red with you and get her into the 12's.

 

I would def help her out but shes in Illinois and im in Ohio. I have a buddy that moved to Iowa and the closest track to him is Cordova which is where i believe she said she runs at. He helped me with everything i know about launching auto cars.

P.S. i popped not 1 but 2 1.73s today lol.. felt good to get back out there and get the competitive juices flowing again

 

thats it rub it in! The best 60 i got was a 1.78 on bald *** nitto drag radials. Good runs though!

 

haha thanks again.. I think the 12.18 part @ 114 is more than enough to feel proud of. I feel like if i trapped that high of mph i would reach the 11s tho. On my 1.78 60' slip it ended as a 12.52 @ 108.65. I have no idea if i would but just seems like it.

 

Yea it could be. I just gotta go again since i just installed 3.91's and i gotta get new tires then i could probably reach 11's. I could see you doing 11's just takes practice.

 

Hell ya the 3.91s should help you out a lot. I would put 391s in mine but being auto the gas mileage would be f*cked. 6spds aren't effected as much by the bigger gear. When is the nearest track opening up this year for you? I bet you could hit 11s for sure.
