Default 04 a4 gto question.

04 a4 gto mods are aem intake , diablo and has the cats an resonators deleted. My question is, how far can I tweak the timing safely? The parameters on the link are what I have on it now, was just looking for thoughts on it. I know a custom tune is the way to go but this is what I have right now. Thanks.

You'll need to log to see if you have any knock retard. If not, you should be good.

If I read that right and you only upped your high RPM WOT timing 6% that's pretty light (19-20* x 1.06 = ~21*). Unless you meant +6* and that should be fine. You could go up 25-30% to roughly 26*(and then log for knock). That would put you up in the mid-20*s. I ran up to 30* advance.

So I could run the wot timing in the 20s and be ok then ? Would I need to change anything with the fuel?

Mid 20*s with a LS1 are cake. Stock fueling is usually rich so you should be OK. I like to tweak more power out by safely leaning it but you absolutely need a wideband O2 to do that.
