Default header install

has anyone got the header out of the drivers side out with out popping the power steerings lines off?

Yes you can install/remove without removing the lines.

It's easier if you remove the lines. I've heard it can be done otherwise, but it's a major pain.

I did it without removing the lines. Just unbolted the entire steering box and the adjacent bolt on the other side. Then pushed all that toward the passenger side (do your best not to actually push on the wheels as that increases the chances of needing to get your alignment adjusted). It cleared up enough room to get the DS header in.

I've heard its a matter of what header's you are actually using. With Pacesetter's it seems you have to remove it all. That's just what I've read. I removed it all for my Pacesetter's, and it was still tight. Threading those lines does suck.
