Default Light weight windows.....

Does any one knows, the easier way to get light weight windows, in the car, is it possible to just cut the lexan by tracing the factory window and laying it over the frame to shape it in, as is been install, since i suppose is more flexible?

And another question, is it lexan or acrylic, that's use for this purpose, and lastly, whats the thickness racers use, please help, thanks David.

I know Summit racing and Jegs both have window kits.

I think acrylic is too prone to crack/break when it gets cold.

Jerry Brickel sells them as a kit.
