How far are you shipping it? I've found going to pick it up is cheaper if its not too far

I ship appliances all day and use http://ltl.upsfreight.com/ and in almost 12 years, only have 2 damages by them. But it's mostly in the crating that will make most the difference. The better it is packed (and attached to the pallet), the most likely it will survive.
