Just spray light, even coats and it will break/peel off wherever you don't want it.
Dipped mine this past weekend. I just went to town on the front, and peeled off what I didn't want. My grilles were faded and a light gray, so they are 100% better now. You can kind of see the different between the top grilles and the bottom which I haven't sprayed yet (easier to see in large picture: http://imgur.com/0VDafiV). I'm going to mask off the radiator before I do the bottom to minimize how much makes its way through.
I'm probably going to drip my entire car white in the next week or so. I'll have to post up the results in a new thread.

Staging Lane
Ive never used plasti dip. I thought that was the **** you dipped your tools in so they had a grip. I painted my grills an then used a red that was close to the cars an painte the GTO letters. Looks way better than stock satin
