Default de-wing the GTO?

Has anyone done this? Can you order one without a wing? I think the GTO would look a lot cleaner without a wing. JMO.

Actually, yes - there have been some removed and pic's taken - I can't find the links right away. It looks pretty clean without - but I think it looks just as good with. Unless I had some other motivation (ie. my car is wrecked or something) mine will stay.
And no, for '04 you can't order without. It was a big matter of debate though, so a 'wing delete' just may end up an '05 option.

At the shows and in photos I didn't care for the wing..but I saw a red GTO on the highway the other day and it looked good with the spoiler..

Really a nice sports coupe.

I hear a lot of moaning about it..but I like the sophisticated and subtle GTO..

Especially in RED!

The wing is simple to remove, but it does require the holes in the trunk lid to be filled.

Personally, I prefer it on the car.
