Pulling my hair out here... Cleaned throttle body and maf when I re oiled my filter.. no oil on maf checked many times. Trac light off message comes on and my idle surges when coming to a stop and is constant at 1000... No vacuum leaks that I can tell. This is the weird part.

Blocked off PVC system( port behind throttle body) and idle went down to normal (820-835 rpm) until you touch the gas then idle returns to 1000. I would just love a diagnostic procedure on the throttle body and the code it self and any insight would be awesome.

 

Did you disconnect the maf connector. If yes, check for bent pin.

 

Yea I've switched mafs altogether no change

 

OK. I had the same problem. Trac off light after removing MAF. Found one pin going into small hole beside hole where it was suppose to go.
