Depends on what width they are, but generally higher offset is needed unless you like the mexiflush look.

18x 8.5" up front 18x 9.5 out back.

so +40 in the front and +45 in the rear should fit comfortably just gotta figure out some tires

Fronts will fit and be slightly outside the fender.

Rears will most likely require some fender work unless you run a narrow tire or have stiff springs that don't allow much squat.

So a 35 would be a bit better on the front, the rear I kind of expected

No, 35 pushes it even more towards the outside.

You will be fine with 40, 45 and up is preferred usually if you want to tuck the tires in.

Or crank the camber.

so it works the reverse of what I remember. I always thought the higher the positive offset the further away the mounting surface from the center line of the hoop. guess I need a refresher, its been a while since Ive had to shop for wheels

got them on love them, but I have some rubbing issues, but I almost think that is due to rear spring sag more than wheel/tire size. should probably roll the fenders, but I think i need to look into a better spring shock combo.

also any leads on getting some pontiac center caps? did a search on da google and it mentioned a few guys had some custom made but no info about who made them.

I got mine through Grafxwerks. Peel off the Beyern inlays, and stick on the new ones.

Thanks found them they make a lot of stuff for these cars.

seems like the coil spring options are a bit limited these days as well

Tell me about it. I'm still rolling on Pedder's drag springs with BMR drag bags stuff in them.

I've considered switching over to BC Coilovers on the rear to match my fronts, even thought it isn't a true coilover design.

I looked at those myself, Im just not wanting to dump that kind of money into a daily

I was looking at tiens or H&R's but it seems everyone but eibach is okay. I figure it doesnt matter what I put on the back it will likely set higher or the exactl same is it doesnt now. I can pretty much squeeze my finger between the tire and fender on the driver side and have more space on the passenger with my 18's.

I know this is an old post, but did you have to do and rear fender mods with those wheels?

It rubbed a couple of times but that was when I had sever sagging issues. If I hit a hard bump it still bottomes out and rubs a bit. I have access to a fender roller and I had been planning on doing it just to get it out of the way. So it depends on your ride height mostly.

I went 18's on all 4 corners for what its worth.

Do you think it would rub with 18x9 've 18x9.5? I'm just trying to go as wide on the rear as I can without having to do any mods to the car

that would depend on the offset, since its rubbing on the outside. If you are at stock height would be fine either way I think. For isntance the pic you quoted vs what mine looks like id say that car has another inch of clearance above the tire.
